"The iPhone 4 is finally here"
Apple has released the ever so anticipated Apple iPhone 4 in a press release on June 7; this fourth generation iPhone seems to be living up to consumer expectations by bringing a host of revolutionary features to the smartphone industry. Some of these are FaceTime video calling, a thinner and larger high quality display, faster operating system and processor and 40% more battery life.

The new iPhone 4 has FaceTime video calling which sets a new standard for mobile communication by allowing the user to switch camera’s with the touch of a button to show their callers what they are looking at.
The iPhone 4 is also the thinnest smartphone as it is 9.3 millimeters in size, the front and back are made of aluminosilcate glass which is strengthened to be 30 times harder than plastic and is more scratch resistant. This strengthened enclosure protects a 3.5 inch 960 x 640 pixel retina display which is the highest resolution display ever in a phone rendering text like it would look on a printed page. The screen cover is also protected by an oil resistant coating to help keep it clean and clear.
With regards to hardware the iPhone 4 has a 5 megapixel autofocus, 5x digital zoom digital camera with a backside illuminated sensor and built-in LED flash that makes taking photos in low light easier. The camera also allows for HD video recording and editing the flash can also be used for still photography and video recording. The iPhone 4 also features a revolutionary 3-axis gyro and accelerometer which provide a combined 6-axis motion sensing action. This makes the iPhone 4 have the best support for motion based gaming ever as you can download games from the App Store.
The iPhone 4 comes loaded with iOS 4 the newest version of the iPhone operating system, which features multitasking, folders, enhanced mail and more. The new operating system also supports a greater amount of customization as users can lock their home screens with customized wallpapers or photos. The iPhone is powered by Apples new A4 processor that provides excellent processor and graphics performance without sacrificing battery life. This added battery saving capability allows the iPhone to handle up to 7 hours of talk time on 3G networks and up to 10 hours of web browsing on Wi-Fi and 6 hours on 3G.
The iPhone 4 will be available from June 24 in the US, France, Germany, Japan and UK and it will roll out in 88 countries by the end of September.
