Nokia has released the latest Nokia X3 ‘Touch and Type’ and this is basically a Nokia X3 that has a 12 key number pad and a smaller touchscreen than a normal Nokia X3 hence the model range (Nokia X3-02). This new range of touch and type phone architecture comes with both touchscreen and the 12 keypad technology to allow users to be able to use the touchscreen to navigate the interface or use the keypad to type text messages quickly and efficiently. Nokia plans to make this innovation available to its consumers who can’t afford to pay the high asking prices that the latest smartphones require.
The touch and type technology makes it easier to use the functions of the phone like SMS and social networking as people will find it easier to use the type technology to type a SMS yet the touch technology will be easier to use to set an alarm or browse the social networks. The Nokia X3 touch and type is powered by a Symbian Series 40 operating system which does a good job of integrating the phones touch and type functions.
The Nokia X3 touch and type comes with additional features such as 3G, WLAN, a music player and a FM radio. The camera is a 5 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom that can take video that you can go on to store on your microSD card that can have a capacity of up to 16 GB. There are also dedicated video and music keys allowing fast access to these services. Nokia has also integrated Ovi Mail a service that allows users favorite email and chat accounts to be pushes directly to the Nokia X3 device via Nokia messaging you may also go onto Ovi store and access many services an applications.
