In terms of usability, the user interface is similar in design to that of the Xperia™ X10 mini. One touch access to your favourite applications and social networking sites including FaceBook and YouTube can be set up on the main screen as part of the layout.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia™ X8 is perfect for experiencing multimedia entertainment. This includes games (Android compatible), video clips or browsing the web on the 3 inch screen. In terms of on-board camera, the X8 has a 3.15 mega pixel camera that provides resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Good music feature is ensured with the availability of the music player that is capable of playing MP3/ eAAC+/ WMA/ WAV files. On the other hand, the MP4/ H.263/ H.264/ WMV player ensures top class video playback. If you are feeling more creative, there’s a 3.2 MP camera and video recording functionality.
The X8 has great storage capacity as well. The phone can store up to 16GB of onboard memory as well as up to 16GB of external memory using the microSD card slot. A standard 2GB memory is available with the phone upon purchase.
