The HTC Wildfire Fuelled by Social Interaction

HTC Corporation has announced the new HTC Wildfire phone that integrates all the popular
social networks into is UI using HTC Sense. Built on the same concept of the HTC Desire the HTC Wildfire has a younger target market since it targets the social networks
Features
The HTC Wildfire comes with a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen that makes viewing photos and using the phone a breeze. The cameras comes with a 5 megapixel image sensor with auto focus and a LED flash allowing you to capture your special moments the camera also supports geotagging. Having a good camera is great but if you don’t have any ample storage space with the HTC Wildfire that is not a problem as it comes with 512 MB of ROM and you get an external microSD card of up to 32 GB.
You can also choose to store your multimedia files like images, video and mp3 files or listen to them through the phones speaker phone or using the 3.5 mm audio jack.
Connectivity is also quite good in the HTC Wildfire you get 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Edge, GPRS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allowing you to feed the phones internet hungry user interface. To get around the HTC Wildfire also comes with an internal GPS antenna which allows you to navigate around using Google maps. Other features of the HTC Wildfire that are worth noting are the G-Sensor, Digital compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor
User interface
The HTC Wildfire is running an Android 2.0 Eclair operating system that allows the use of HTC Sense which allows the integration of most of the social media applications into the devices core operating system. One application that uses this feature well is the “Friend Stream” widget which allows you to get organized streams of your friends updates no matter which social networks they are on. The address book also contains recent snippets of text relating to the last communication you had with your friend and their social network updates. When you call then the phone displays their social next work updates.
Battery
The HTC Wildfire has a 1300 mAh lithium-ion battery that has talk time of up to 490 minutes and standby time of up to 480 hours (GSM).
Expect the HTC Wildfire will be broadly available to customers across major European and Asian markets from the third quarter of 2010.
