The Nokia E63 is a business phone, similar in concept and design to the Blackberry Curve, and has been available in South Africa for a couple of months. It comes in a three really nice colour options: Ultramarine Blue, Ruby Red and Black

In terms of business and office use, the Nokia E63 can handle zipped files and open pdf’s. It also has Quickoffice which allows you to create documents, workbooks and presentations, not to mention the extra handy built in dictionary. The full comfortable QWERTY keyboard make typing documents, emails and instant messages a breeze.

With regards to data transfer and syncing up your phone and a PC or any other mobile device, the E63 comes standard with Wi-fi and Bluetooth, EDGE and GPRS capabilities.
This awesome all purpose phone is set up to run Symbian 9.2 version OS and has quad band GSM support which means it can be used on any international service provider. The E63 has on-board memory of 110MB, and comes with a microSD slot that is hot swappable and allows you to expand the memory to a max of 8GB.

There are a number of pre-installed applications that come with the E63. These include YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and the Nokia email client.
The Nokia E63's 320 x 240 pixels screen resolution has great visibility for both indoors and outdoors and its refresh rate is fast enough to go unnoticed.

The E63 phone is also equipped with a 2MP camera (primary and secondary) able to take photos and video at 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. With instant messages, you can then send these video clips and messages to anyone via MMS or email. You can also upload them to any of the Web 2.0 sharing sites such as YouTube and Facebook.

The only disadvantages of the E63 phone is that there isn't any pre-installed games, although they can be downloaded and installed at any time,. There is no USB cable that comes with the phone and you need to buy one separately.

All in all the Nokia E63 is a nice little business phone that is both functional and stylish and is also available at a competitive price. The phone also has great data capabilities and messaging functionality, which makes it easy to use and navigate.
